Mechatronics Engineer bridging mechanical design, electronics, and software. I build systems that move, sense, and think — from autonomous cleaning robots to smart home automation.
I'm a Mechatronics Engineer graduated from the German University in Cairo in 2024, with hands-on experience spanning 3D design, finite element analysis, prototyping, smart home integration, and AI-driven workflow automation.
My work sits at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. I'm most energized when I'm taking a problem from concept to physical reality — designing in CAD, simulating in ANSYS, then building and testing the real thing.
Currently working as a Smart Home Engineer at Connect for Smart Automation, where I design and implement tailored automation systems for clients.
Designed a fully autonomous robot that climbs and cleans photovoltaic panels to maintain solar efficiency. Handled the complete design-to-production pipeline: sheet metal fabrication, 3D-printed components, FEA validation, electrical circuit design in Proteus, and embedded code development.
Designed and implemented an automated packaging machine driven by a pneumatic system. Built the complete 3D model, designed and simulated the electrical control circuit, selected all pneumatic components, and deployed the system under real-world operating conditions.
At Connect for Smart Automation, I collaborate directly with clients to design and implement complete smart home systems. This involves understanding client requirements, creating system plans, selecting and configuring hardware components, and deploying and commissioning the full software stack.
Design and implement tailored smart home systems for clients. Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering and system planning to hardware selection, installation, and software configuration.
Graduated with a focus on integrated mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Bachelor project: autonomous PV panel cleaning robot.
Supported maintenance operations for high-performance motorcycles. Coordinated technical inspections and implemented solutions for mechanical issues.
Assisted the engineering team in overseeing production workflows, performing maintenance checks, and participating in solar panel installation projects.
Contributed to the design and manufaturing of classic control panels and implemented traditional control concepts for industrial and residential applications .
I'm currently open to new opportunities — whether that's a full-time engineering role, a freelance project, or a collaboration. If you have something interesting in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
